RECONNECTING YOU TO THE BODY YOU LIVE IN, THE EARTH YOU WALK ON, and THE MAGIC THAT SURROUNDS YOU THROUGH THE REVIVAL OF RITUALS AS OLD AS HUMANKIND.
Body | Psyche | Soul
Hatha yoga, sun-moon yoga, focuses on balance, alignment, and strength. Our live and online classes integrate yoga philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breath work), asana (posture sequences), and integration (rest and meditation to conclude). We also offer Yoga Nidra, a guided, restorative meditation practice that journeys through the koshas to safely bring balance to our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies and enhance our interoceptive awareness.
FOREST BATHING :
Listen | Calm | Connect
In this slow, mindful walking practice, we enter the forest with the intention to tune into the natural world, and by doing so, the forest enters each of us through the five senses that we tap into together. This walking experience is like a "bath" for our nervous system, as we are bathed with sights of patterns at play, scents of soil and water, sounds of wildlife and footsteps, sensations of textured tree bark, and perhaps the taste of wild herbal edibles.
Health | Purpose | Alignment
Live in sync with your natural surroundings and biological cycles to experience greater life alignment. Using observation practices and the application of biomimicry we will explore and develop a rhythm, schedule, and lifestyle where you become another member of the ecosystem. Co-regulate with the rhythms and cycles of the Earth, your body, and your non-human kin.
theSE RITUALS OF YOKING MIND, BREATH, and BODY; SLOWING AND STILLING OURSELVES TO CONNECT DEEPLY TO THE EARTH; and aligning our body's rhythms and our life's patterns are sacred and savory experiences. THEY ARE PRACTICES that have the power to transform our minds and open our hearts to the tender and powerful workings of OUR BODIES, our planet, and something far more than our minds can ATTEMPT to conceive.
Hatha yoga focuses on breath, alignment, balance, and strength. This slow to moderate-paced class flows through meditation, breathwork (pranayama), and posture sequences (asana), and is suitable for all yogis, including beginners.

THE WILD & THE CULTIVATED
At the edge where forest meets field, we will explore the wild and the cultivated as seen in the differences between garden soil and forest soil. Equally we'll explore the wild and the cultivated in ourselves through creative writing practices, storytelling around the bonfire, and journeys to the subconscious through the practice of yoga nidra. Experiential learning will guide you deeper into concepts such as fermentation as metaphor, the honorable harvest, the bitter as medicine, and scope to scope connecting the soil to the stars through introductory microscopy and star gazing...
